(Preliminary program description and agenda.)
Still not convinced?
Let some of the pet people who attended the first BlogPaws event in April convince you. Here’s what they said:
Michelle Maskaly (Toby Pup’s mom!) said,
“BlogPaws changed my career and focus in life, and if it weren't for seeing the tweet about it, I would've missed out on a lot.”
Nikki at I Love Rescue Animals exclaimed,
“It truly was a life changing experience for so many of those involved. You can’t imagine how energizing & inspiring & truly awesome the experience was!”
Lisa Epstein from Petcoscoop.com said,
“…the best parts of the weekend were the incredible opportunities and connections the conference created for everyone in attendance – for the bloggers, the speakers, the sponsors and everyone in between.”
And Deborah Flick at Boulder Dog summed up the feeling so many shared after leaving the last event:
“Have you ever poured so much water into a glass that it overflowed? Well that glass is me. It’s how I’ve been feeling since BlogPaws 2010 ended – filled to overflowing with great information, good vibes and new friends."
We feel the same. We met so many wonderful, amazing people and have seen those connections grow stronger since April that we decided we couldn’t wait to reconnect with our BlogPaws East friends and make a whole bunch of new friends. That’s why we’re holding another pet blogger conference — in Denver in the fall.
And, remember — at every BlogPaws event, we come together to give back — helping our shelters and rescues with cash donations and in-kind help. Attending BlogPaws West means more bloggers working to help deserving pets. Join us and be part of Be the Change for Pets.
Here’s what you can expect to take away from the event.
Best Practices from the Front Lines
Experienced bloggers (and newbies, too!) will hear from other seasoned bloggers and social media experts about what they’re doing right and what they may be doing wrong. The sessions and networking are designed to facilitate great conversations and actionable learning, complete with tips and tricks of the trade to help all of us reach our blogging goals.
A Supportive, Passionate Community
Blogging is about relationships; relationships with your readers, with other bloggers and for some, with your customers. BlogPaws brings together bloggers, online pet enthusiasts, pet brands and advocates for animal welfare to spark new opportunities for all of us. Relationships like these take months to build online via normal channels. At BlogPaws, you’ll have the opportunity to meet passionate, like-minded people nose-to-nose. Before the weekend is out, you’ll have new readers, advocates, friends, sponsors and cheerleaders for all your efforts across the Web.
Inspiration to Be the Change
The BlogPaws community mission is to support pets in need. Our signature movement, Be the Change for Pets, began at the first BlogPaws and continues at this event and beyond. We have special programming planned to celebrate the amazing things happening in our community and to share ideas and inspiration that can help you be the change in your own backyard.
